Please join us in Morehead City, NC on March 19-21, 2026 for a joint annual meeting with one of our fellow Estuarine Research Societies, the Atlantic Estuarine Research Society (AERS)!

Abstract submissions may be up to 200 words but we encourage brevity.
Abstracts are due by Jan 31, 2026. 

All formats welcome; oral presentations encouraged. Only one presentation per person is allowed. Presentations can be traditional oral, ignite talk, or a poster.

There are 2 types of oral presentations:
- Traditional Oral Presentation: 15-minute block (13-minute presentation with 2 minutes for questions)
- Ignite Talk: 7-minute block (5-minute presentation with slides that automatically advance; 2 minutes for questions)

An abstract must be submitted for all presenters and speakers, both for poster sessions and oral sessions (one abstract per presentation). There is no fee for submitting an abstract. Submitting an abstract **DOES NOT** complete your Registration or allow you to attend the meeting. You and any co-authors attending must also register and pay fees at the Registration link on the website.
